31 Easy Keto Food Swaps. Diet crazes sweep the nation, and one is becoming really popular lately: the Ketogenic diet. It's a type of diet that completely changes and goes against modern health standards. Rather than low fat, this diet encourages people to consume large amounts of fat while also limiting carbs. Unlike some other low-carb diets, the Keto diet limits the number of carbs a person can eat per day to 20 net carbs, which are the number of total carbs minus fiber and sugar alcohols.

We're not going to say you won't miss bread, because you very well may. That being said, Keto is a lot easier when you can still make a sandwich. Instead of bread, use lettuce. Iceberg is a good choice, but romaine has more nutrients. Any dark, leafy green is a good choice in any diet.
